Following Committee meetings, details of agenda items and other business discussed will be posted for members to read. This will give members the opportunity to keep up to date if they are unable to attend their regional meetings.

The BGS, PDS, PDNSA and Allied Health Professionals are promoting a PD audit tool for newly diagnosed patients. It is intended to audit the availability of services nationally. Details of the tool can NOW be downloaded from the PDNSA website here!

The members only section now has examples of a variety of policies, flow charts and assessment tools that have been submitted for other PD Nurses to read. PDNSA membership is renewable in October and can be done in person at the annual conference. However, for those not attending, hectic schedules means that this may sometimes be overlooked. The committee has looked into on line and direct debit renewals but the cost implications do not make this a viable option. One alternative may be to considering setting up a Standing Order, which would ensure your renewal every year and should not incur any extra costs. If you do consider this, please also confirm details with your Bank or Building Society.
